Your Ordinary Life Can Be Worship
I think sometimes we imagine serving God has to look… important. Standing on a stage. Leading a Bible study. Going on a mission trip. Teaching Sunday school. Sharing the Gospel with a stranger. Starting a ministry. Doing something big enough that somebody looks at your life and says: “Wow. God is really using you.” And yes—God absolutely works through those things. But lately I’ve been thinking about all the parts of life that nobody applauds. Making dinner. Going to work. Washing another load of laundry. Answering the phone when somebody needs you. Driving the kids somewhere. Checking on your mom. Being patient with someone who’s getting on your LAST nerve. 😂 Cleaning up after everyone has gone home. Showing up to church when you’re tired. Sending the encouraging text. Keeping your word. Being kind to the cashier. Doing the right thing when absolutely nobody would know if you didn’t.
